Creating the Otis Cultural Center at Historic St. Paul's

St. Paul's Episcopal Church was built in 1827, designed in classic New England Carpenter Gothic style with crenellated tower and soaring windows featuring 1,100 individual panes of hand-made glass.  Funds to build the church were raised by and from the townspeople of Otis.  This building is the daughter church to the famous Revolutionary War "Old North Church" in Boston, MA. The town voted twice to accept the gift of this building, with the support of the congregation of St. Paul's, and the deed was transferred to the town on October 29, 2019.

We are restoring and preserving St. Paul's to become the Otis Cultural Center at Historic St. Paul's, a space for concerts and performances, shows, lectures, and film nights, which will enable all the people of Otis and our visitors to share in and enjoy this cultural treasure.

To prepare for the opening of this exciting cultural venue in Otis, we have already launched the Notice Otis Series of events to give residents and friends of Otis a taste of the events to come in the Cultural Center, which so far have included lectures and discussions on historical topics, as well as musical performances by local and regional artists. Read more about the Notice Otis series here!
