A Winning Grants and Gifts Record,
and More to Come With Your Help!
As of October 2025, OPT and the Otis Historical Commission have raised over $1.4 million in grants from public agencies, private foundations, and individual philanthropists to help us realize our dream of restoring the East Otis Schoolhouse and Otis Cultural Center at Historic St. Paul's. Many grants require that the town or OPT provide matching funds, which we could not do without contributions from hundreds of large and small individual donors like you. Any amount that you can donate helps, because the number of individual contributors impresses grant-awarding bodies by demonstrating strong local buy-in for our projects.
Individual donors have given over $221,000 as of mid-October 2025 to make the restorations of St. Paul's and the East Otis Schoolhouse a reality! We give our special thanks to Charles Rosenblum, who donated $50,000 in December 2020 to launch our restoration of Historic St. Paul's to become the Otis Cultural Center.
We estimate that we need to raise an additional $509,000 from individual donors and grants to open the doors of the Otis Cultural Center at Historic St. Paul's. Please help us close this funding gap today!
